In the dynamic and complex realm of aviation, ensuring the seamless flow of air traffic is paramount. Recognizing the potential for disruptions, the Air Traffic Services Authority has meticulously crafted a comprehensive Air Traffic Management Contingency Plan in accordance with the requirement of ICAO Annex 11 – Air Traffic Services. This plan is a strategic framework designed to address unforeseen circumstances that could impact the provision of air traffic services and supporting functions.
The Air Traffic Management (ATM) Contingency Plan contains details of the arrangements in place to maintain a high level of safety, efficiency, and order in air traffic operations during times of partial or total disruption of Air Traffic Services within Jakarta FIR and Ujung Pandang FIR. It aims to minimize the impact on airspace users, airlines, and other stakeholders, ensuring a coordinated and effective response.
In accordance with international standards, the plan is developed in close collaboration with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Leveraging ICAO's expertise and global perspective, our plan aligns with international best practices and ensures a harmonized approach to contingency management.
